Large Video
Have I posted any video to this site? I dunno. Anyhow, this is 27MB, so don't bother trying to download if you're connecting via dial-up. Even if you get it, there's no guarantee you'll have the correct codec. It was shot with a Canon Powershot S230. To watch it, you'll need an MJPEG decoder. If you find you can't view it, click here for some help.
That being said, this is pretty cute:

Ahhh, Parenthood
Ilana and I were just having a sortof misty moment. She had a black-and-blue mark on her arm from where Tali had gripped-on too tight. It is so sweet, those moments where she grabs to your arm or hand... she's so reliant, innocent. We're her home team, the people she knows she can trust as she keeps experiencing new and possibly threatening things in this world.
We see aspects of ourselves already in the kid. I do, certainly. She doesn't want to nap... she stays up, always interested in what's going on. Perhaps foreshadowing some Adam-esque all-nighters in her future years? I hope not... I hope she gets some much needed sleep, much more than I do. But still... what does that Budweiser + RedBull billboard say... "She'll have plenty of time to sleep when she's 30" or something like that. It's late, I'm sure I'm not being funny.
Tali also seems to have terrible posture, so far. In her stroller, she's always slouched. In the stroller with the bar in front, she's always leaned-back with her legs over the bar :) I mean, come on! I always have my legs in a similar fashion. And both Ilana and I have terrible posture. We'll need to find some way to help Tali correct some of the bad habits that she seems to have inherited. It's odd, isn't it? Are sitting habits genetically coded? Tali's friend, Shira Tanzer, has perfect posture. She's amazing like that. It's just so wacky, to see these 6-9 month old girls - babies really - and to watch how their behaviors now will relate to their behaviors as they grow up, Bizrat Hashem.
