Thumb Sucking
I must say, it can be downright thrilling observing your daughter try to do things for the first time. To a large extent, we think our lives will be easier if Tali is able to find and suck on her thumb to soothe herself. We'll often give her a pacifier, but if it falls out she cries and we have to run back to her and put it back in. She'll sometimes kindof suck on her fist, but her thumb is always tightly inside the fist. Just now, I've been watching her in her swing, and she's sucking on her open hand. I've been rooting for her to figure out the thumb bit, and she's sooooo close! It's exhilerating hoping she figures it out.
She's finally getting to the stage where we can see her learning things. I'm so proud!
Sorry if I'm sounding corny.

she's 2 months!
Since Adam hasn't written in a while, I figured I'd give a quick update. We had a bit of a traumatic experience a week ago when Adam attempted to give Tali her first pedicure...and ended up removing some toe instead of toenail. =) I think in the end it was more painful for us than for her, but everyone seems to have survived the experience. Unfortunately, she still has
her razor-like claw toenails, that we're now too afraid to trim, so for the near future she'll be wearing lots of socks!
We're adjusting to parenthood and enjoying each new adventure that presents itself.
It's hard not to love this when you've got such a cute baby! (not that we're biased or anything!)
